KOK Teacher Application

On behalf of Kids of the Kingdom (KOK), welcome to the religion release program for Jasper and Ireland Elementary Schools. KOK is a 501c3 non-profit, non-denominational ministry that offers Christ-centered religious education to all students. Participation in this program is voluntary and takes place during the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach class using the provided curriculum

• Prepare in advance for the lesson being taught

• Maintain attention of the students and encourage respectful behavior

• Model Christ in one’s words and actions

Qualifications

• Placed their faith in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection as payment for their sins (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, 13)

• Must attend and be committed to a local church

• Teaching experience is preferred but teacher training can be provided

• Ability to work well with students
